About Me
Hi, I’m Allison Prior — co-founder of David Prior Homes. For over 35 years, I’ve been fortunate to help create more than 140 bespoke homes across the Sunshine Coast, with a special focus on acreage living. My love for the countryside runs deep, shaped by my early years growing up on a farm, and it’s a lifestyle David and I have embraced and shared with our family ever since.
Designing homes that truly suit our clients’ needs — and their land — is at the heart of everything we do. I’m passionate about creating spaces that make the most of natural views, breezes, and light, while maintaining the warmth and functionality that make a house feel like home.
Quality, honesty, and a genuine care for people guide every decision we make. Each home we build is approached with the same standards we’d expect for ourselves and our family — because to us, it’s not just about building houses, it’s about building trust and lasting relationships.
About My Business
For over 35 years, David and Allison Prior have teamed their love for acreage living and building to help Sunshine Coast families get the exact acreage home they want. David adds, “We have been privileged to train our sons in building and have them join us in business.” Since the first custom home in 2003, we have completed more than 140 homes and developed a meticulous building process to ensure our homes are finished on time and on budget with no nasty surprises.
